Services include neuropsychological testing, specialized psychological testing for medical conditions, and psychological therapy.
Neuropsychological Assessment: Neuropsychological assessment includes the evaluation of the relationship between the brain and cognitive functioning. Some areas of assessment include: motor skills, language skills, memory, attention, processing, intelligence, achievement, abstraction, reasoning, and logical analysis, and personality function. Neuropsychological assessment generally ranges from age three to geriatrics.
Specialized Psychological Assessment and Evaluation: Many insurance companies require a psychological evaluation as part of the preparation for bariatric surgery or spinal cord stimulator implantation. Dr. Harrington regularly performs these assessments for adults.
Psychological Therapy: When individuals experience stress or depression in their lives due to life circumstances, it is most helpful to have confidential professional assistance. For example, this could include anxiety, depression, psychological issues due to medical difficulties, or family problems. Services are provided for teens through geriatrics.
